The making of Mars, Upclose and Personal

The new Mars, Upclose and Personal exhibit took over a year to design, fabricate, and construct. The exhibits required the minds and skills of a wide variety of individuals from geologists to architects. The long and delicate process ended with what is most likely to be the largest known three dimensional and scaled reproduction of the Martian surface.
